I drove my car really fast and turned the wheel so that the car hit the rail and flipped elegantly off of the side of an overpass. My car flew through the air across from twelve children standing on the side of the road below. Several of them pointed and one of them said “woah cool” and they all watched as my car landed upside down on the other side of the road. The gas tank exploded and parts of the car and parts of my body were scattered all over the pavement. A school shooter who attended the same school as the children but who hadn’t seen me flip my car off of the overpass walked up to them and killed them all with an automatic weapon. He listened to their pained screams and watched their blood and organs spill all over the pavement.
When I landed and died instantly, I didn’t feel any better than I did before I ran my car off of the overpass. When the children watched me die and blow apart, they didn’t feel any better than they did before the car crash and subsequent explosion. When the school shooter killed all of the children, he didn’t feel any better than he did before he shot them all with his automatic weapon.
